French Restaurant - 'Le Haricot Vert'
The wonderfully named Le Haricot Vert is a traditional French restaurant located on Molenstraat . One of its main assets is the delightful outdoor terrace, ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The view here can’t be beat: you can chat over a meal and drink while overlooking quaint, picturesque Molenstraatje or elegant Noordeinde. The fickle Dutch weather permitting, having lunch or dinner on the terrace is a memorable experience. The French connection is clearly visible in the restaurant’s interior, and this special ambience perfectly complements the lavish French menu, which features a variety of international dishes and an excellent selection of wines. Le Haricot Vert is a gourmet’s paradise.

Molenstraat 'Royal appeal'
A number of well-known jewellers, among which Steltman & Schaap and Citroen, are situated on the Plaats. The Plaats leads to the Molenstraat, after the Hoogstraat. Les Haricot Vert, at Molenstraat 9a-11, is perfect for a delicious lunch or dinner. This restaurant offers a wonderful ambiance and delicious, traditional French cuisine. Further down the road, a number of shops are worth a visit, including The Earth Collection fashion store on number 49. The Molenstraat leads to the Prinsestraat.

Molenstraat, situated in The Hague’s historic Hofkwartier district, connects Noordeinde with Prinsestraat and Torenstraat right behind it. The narrow, pedestrian-only shopping street runs along the South Wing of Noordeinde Palace, giving the local food establishments plenty of space for outdoor seating, with tables lining the pavement. The atmosphere in this section of town is decidedly French, particularly in the evenings, when you’ll find restaurant guests dining al fresco. Le Haricot Vert, which specialises in French and Belgian cuisine and offers comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, has a varied menu that attracts gourmands and other foodies. The street’s Royal appeal is enhanced by the Koningspoort, a town gate inside the housing block.
