Has been situated on the Noordeinde since 1980. It started out as a restaurant run by two friends. It quickly became a family company run by the Piacenza family. The son, Damiano Piacenza, took over the restaurant in 2002. In 2006, he engaged Christian Brosius, also his best friend, as Head Chef and business partner. In addition to the restaurant, La Liguria also provides a catering service for your company or your home. Group bookings, celebrations or parties are also possible in the restaurant. We have a magnifi cent, spacious, covered and heated terrace, where the Italian atmosphere comes to the fore.

This causes the final products and services offered by restaurants to be of higher quality and we, culinary devotees, thoroughly enjoy and take advantage of that. Of course there are restaurants that have been known for their excellent quality for years.

There are few 30-year-old restaurants in the Netherlands that still prove themselves capable of serving a house full of guests while maintaining their original quality level. Taveerne De Resident in the Denneweg in The Hague is one of those exceptional establishments. This cosy restaurant is popular among Hague residents as well as the many expats residing in the city. Business acquaintances, family members and children will all feel at ease in De Resident. Of course you can drop by unexpectedly, but we recommend reserving a table beforehand.
